uniexp PKG

The command uniexp PKG exports a package from UVMS to a .unipkg file or to a .xml file.

Syntax:

uniexp PKG -pkg <val> -login <val> -pwd <val> -pwdfile <val> [-help] [–pkgfile <val>] [-pkgproduct <val>] [-pkgtype <val>] [-xmlfile <val>]

• -help

  Optional. Displays the command online help

• -login <val>

  Mandatory if -pkgtype is absent or equal to OBJECT. UVMS login account.
  The login account must have UVMS permissions on package administration for that package (see UVMS Role).

• -pkg <val>

  Mandatory. Name of the package to be exported from UVMS.

• -pkgfile <val>

  Optional. Incompatible with -xmlfile. Full path and name of the .unipkg file.
  Used to export AUTOPATCH, SETTINGS or OBJECTS packages from Dollar Universe or Unijob.

  By default:

  • This is the package name plus the ".unipkg" extension.
  • The file is located in the command execution directory.

• -pkgproduct <val>

  Package product: DU for Dollar Universe, UJ for Unijob.
  Default: DU (since Dollar Universe v6.10.01)

• -pkgtype <val>

  Package type: AUTOPATCH, SETTINGS or OBJECTS. SETTINGS and OBJECTS equals with UniJob.
  Default: OBJECTS

• -pwd <val>

  Mandatory if -pkgtype is absent or equal to OBJECTS. Mandatory if -pwdfile is absent. Incompatible with –pwdfile
  UVMS login account password

• -pwdfile <val>

  Mandatory if -pkgtype is absent or equal to OBJECTS. Mandatory if -pwd is absent. Incompatible with –pwd
  Full name of the file containing the encrypted password of the UVMS login account. The password must be encrypted with the command uniencryptpwd.

• -xmlfile <val>

  Optional. Incompatible with -pkgfile. Usable with -pkgtype OBJECTS -pkgproduct DU. Full path and name of the .xml file. The .xml file created has exactly the same syntax and the same structure as the file created by the general command uniexp. It can be used by a uniimp PKG command or by a uniimp general command (described in the section Settings Export – Import).

  Used to export a Dollar Universe OBJECTS package only.

  • If the package does not exist, the command aborts.
  • If the file already exists, it is deleted before the package export.

uniexp PKG -pkg PKG_OBJ -login admin -pwd admin -pkgproduct DU
